A unique folding oyster and shellfish knife made in France by Opinel. The blade is short, robust and designed to cut only at the tip, which is centered to facilitate opening oysters. This oyster-shucking knife is perfect because it folds away nicely for storage making it perfect for boats, pockets and other tight spaces. The padouk wood handle is ergonomic and is resistant to swelling in humid environments.

Materials: stainless steel and padouk wood

Made by: Opinel

Made in: France

Specifications: 7.20" x 1" x 1" (open), blade length 2.5"

Safety: This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955 and is designed to lock the blade in either closed or open position, for maximum safety and stability.

Care: The blade will not rust, however try to avoid leaving your Opinel knife in damp environments for too long and dry the blade after each use.
